Dear Student Delegates and Mentors,

At Shiv Nadar School, the belief and respect for every individual drives each thought, idea, deed and action. Human Rights is the fulcrum of human dignity. Every individual who lives and breathes the air on this planet, must by default have the right to liberty, right to learn, educate, work, be who she/her/him/they are, freedom from discrimination and the democratic expression to articulate ideas, opinions and feelings. To be able to live in safe societies and environments and disagree and dissent, without threat or stigma.

The belief in values of diversity, inclusion and equity form the bedrock of our thought leadership and permeate each entity in the school-the educator, student, support staff and parent. We value differences, celebrate every race, gender, colour, class and make it our everyday business to ensure that all individuals are deeply respected, acknowledged and appreciated in the environs of our school. By cultivating a culture of empathy, compassion, and open-mindedness, we foster a generation that champions equality and justice for all.

In our committees in SNSFMUN 2023, we encourage dialogue and critical thinking to promote awareness and understanding of human rights issues. We aim to nurture a sense of social responsibility and empower our students to become agents of positive change in their communities.

Our educators, sterling speakers, innumerable workshops, service projects and the pulse of daily impressions and influences enable our students to be in an immersive experience of life that fortifies them to actively engage in fighting for human rights.

SNSMUN 2023 is one platform that opens vast possibilities for our young delegates to consider and deliberate upon divergent and variegated perspectives, widen their horizons and push boundaries of thought and knowledge.

Let us converge to convert SNSMUN 2023 into a defining moment of our lives and let each one pledge to impact at least one life to live with dignity and freedom.
